BEIJING,April10(Xinhua)--China"sNationalHealthCommissiononMondayunveiledthelatestplanforCOVID-19vaccination,whichaimstoraisetheimmunitylevelsofcertaingroupsandfurtherreducetherisksofsevereinfectionanddeathfromthevirus.

TheplanwasissuedbytheStateCounciljointCOVID-19preventionandcontrolmechanism.Ittargetsthoseagedbetweenthreeand17whohavenotbeeninfectedwiththenovelcoronavirusandhavenotbeenfullyvaccinatedagainstCOVID-19,adultswhohavenotbeeninfectedandhavenotreceivedboostershots,andpeoplewhohavebeeninfectedbuthavenotbeenfullyvaccinated.

Uninfectedadultsabove18yearsoldcanreceivethefirstboostershotsthreemonthsaftertheyhavefullyvaccinated.

ThosewhohavepreviouslybeeninfectedwithCOVID-19buthaveyettobefullyvaccinatedcanbeadministeredavaccineshotthreemonthsaftertheinfection,theplansaid.
